We work with Participating agencies who give us valuable insights into areas where volunteers can play an important role in helping to meet the most pressing needs. Volunteer groups and individuals come alongside agencies who are on the front lines of service, sometimes struggling to meet needs with their own limited resources. Many of our volunteers come from local churches because we share a common commitment to following Christ’s example of serving those with needs in the community. ACTION volunteers bring compassion, energy, love, flexibility, support and encouragement as well as tangible assistance where it is needed most.
By building bridges and long-term partnerships between leaders, congregations and agencies, we work together to bring about positive community transformation. These churches also offer program of their own which can be found through ACTIONLink.
