ACTION is committed to strengthening the existing network of services provided to those in need in Ventura County.

Participating agencies give us valuable insights into areas where Christian volunteers can play an important role in helping to meet the most pressing needs. One of our key priorities is to facilitate long-term collaborations between leaders, congregations, and agencies for assessing and addressing community needs.

For example:

• Catholic Charities
  Serves under-resourced families, the homeless population, seniors and disabled residents.
• Lutheran Social Service
  Serves under-resourced families, the homeless population, seniors and disabled residents.
• Many Mansions
  Provides housing for under-resourced families.
• Ventura County Human Services Agency
  Serves foster youth, under-resourced families, the homeless population, seniors and disabled residents.
• Ventura County Area Agency on Aging
  Serves those who are age 60 and older.

  CFW helps donors, churches, ministries and professional advisors promote Smart Giving.
